Coquí, Nuquí’s corregimiento, in Chocó, with 150 inhabitants, is the center of attention of some of the most renowned chefs in the country for the variety of its ingredients and its culinary richness.
Forgotten by the State, this small village does not have a health center or a school in good condition. In an attempt to promote social development through employment and sustainable tourism, the Chocó Emprende and FunLeo Foundation, the organization of Colombian chef Leonor Espinosa, arrived two years ago.
